In 2010, Courbis Industries is targeting CQD (Cost, Quality & Delivery) excellence, via lean manufacturing tools that are already in place.
As part of the Group policy, the site will participate in environmental initiatives, in order to meet requirements connected to ISO 14001 certification.

3. RIST 2010

This regional subcontracting trade fair is "unmissable" for Courbis.

This year we decided to prioritise the promotion of Courbis Industries, and sales & marketing manager Emmanuel MESNIER was accompanied by account managers.

The CCI gave us a place in the technological showcase enabling us to display the Mastershock ducts designed for the Ariane 5 boosters and Nautilus (exploration submarine).

5. Polyurethane parts

Our experience in the machining of this material gives us the status of genuine experts in the machining and cutting of flexible materials, allowing us to achieve precise readings together with very good surface conditions.

The combination of our polyurethane and forming expertise has allowed us to develop a unique process for obtaining technical parts with strict tolerances and remarkable surface condition, which are particularly keenly sought after in the aeronautical, defence and rail sectors.

3. Visual Flow Management

In addition to the computerised planning of all the production, the production process is managed thanks to Visual Flow Management organisation and resources.

As well as developing versatility within production units, this highly-visual management method allows us to continuously adapt capacity to load, work station by work station.

Each individual can continuously view the load situation and therefore move from one work station to another depending on the flow.

En complément de la planification informatisée de l'ensemble de la production, le processus de production est géré grâce à une organisation et des moyens de gestion visuelle de l'encours (Visual Flow Management).

Associé à un développement de la polyvalence au sein des ilots de production, ce mode de gestion très visuel permet en permanence d'adapter la capacité à la charge poste de travail par poste de travail.

Chacun peut en permanence visualiser la situation de charge et ainsi passer d'un poste de travail à un autre en fonction du flux.

Fort d'une expertise acquise aux contacts de nos clients dans des secteurs d'activité très variés, nos techniciens, formés en continu, conçoivent et développent une large gamme de produits pour l'ensemble du groupe COURBIS, allant des composants aux ensembles mécaniques les plus complexes.

Suivant les besoins, la conception peut intégrer des calculs de résistance des matériaux (RDM) statiques et dynamiques et de rhéologie.

Les outils de CAO PRO-ENGINEER et CATIA permettent de travailler à partir de tous les standards de formats de fichiers.

Une machine de dépôt de fil nous permet de passer d'une modélisation numérique 3D à un prototype en ABS et ainsi de valider de façon tangible la conception avec nos clients.
